Tell It Like It ls!

All of Gods people on this earth
Reach out and steal some times
A minute here a minute there
After all its only time

And what about that pen from work
That wound up in your purse
Or that quote you copied down one day
That I see there in your verse

We just don't count these little things
But they add up every day
We don't point fingers and condemn
Noone has a thing to say

But what if we saw a momma steal
To feed a hungry child
Laying in a gutter
Sick and crying.. going wild

Would you condemn that woman
Tho help she tried to get
But noone reached out to help her
To prevent this baby 's death

Would you turn your head and tell her
Don't you worry. I 've seen worse
Then next morning from your window
Look out and see a hearse

Perhaps to you this may not be
A reason you would steal
But to you parents in the crowd
I beg you ...come on get real

For if you tried with all you got
To obtain food for your child...
You would beg of steal or do worst things
To just once more see the wee one smile

You grimly say God will find a way
But if that really is the case
Why do many kids die hungry
Among the human race

So call me a thief. Say that I 'm vile
Just stone me if you must
But no child of mine would ever die
Of hunger in the dust
