Hello

I am June, also called Barbie
Born 9 of 11 not much of a sharpie
Mother died when I was only ten
It shaped my life where do I begin?

Married at 16 that was a while ago
Lived a full life even without much dough
Raised two boys with help from above
Loads of adventures and plenty of love

A singer, musician, what else can I say
Love of life it was time to make hay
My home was my castle tho humble it be
Family together, all that mattered to me

Now I can't sing just a song in my heart
Breath is not there since fibrosis is a part
On oxygen now I am limited as can be
But Jesus is my source it's plain can't you see?

I am still a homemaker I do what I can
I don't run any races or build a snowman
Family close by, I am happy as can be
I am free indeed, in Jesus I am free

Fifty-two years, our marriage is great
Still madly in love since that first date
With Jesus my helper it's been a great run
My life's not over til the setting of the sun
