I have never been one to use big words,
To say what I want to say,
Most people don’t want to waste their time,
Playing those silly games every day,
Intelligence has nothing to do with,
Education or brilliance it’s said,
We write the words to tell a tale,
And hope maybe we get read,
I have nothing to hide; I am not a great man,
Nor do I claim to be something I’m not,
I only wish that maybe some day,
My words will not be forgot,
So, I bare it all before you,
Exposed for you to see,
I'll try not to use those big silly words,
For I am just trying to be me.
Yes, I am just a simple man,
Just trying to be me.
