Love Stinks

Once upon a fairy tale
My heart was not the one to fail
Gaily I would prance around
joyusly cuz' love was found
clouds had made their way for sun
my happiness had just begun
but violently it tore away
not to return another day
thunder came to fill my sky
prosperity was all a lie
faking a smile I hid my tears
and locked away my heart for years
until the day one lucky man
will come and take my wilted hand
and like water to a rose
a single kiss will melt what froze
and once again I'll dance and play
only to freeze another day
because love, like seasons, comes in turn
and left those touched to cry and yearn
its not the fairy tale you think
if truth be told- love stinks
