Another Statistic of Child Abuse

There once was a little boy,
David Andre' was his name,
He was so sweet, such a joy,
Does anyone remember his fame?
He was in the news stands in 1991,
Another boy of suicide and child abuse,
Somewhere In the Florida Sands.

For twelve years of his short life,
He was beaten, abandoned, and bruised,
He could never do anything right,
His mother had a short fuse,
His step father molested him,
He Beat him black & blue,
I hope he go's to hell for his sins!
Do I seem like an angry sister to you?

David Andre' had enough,
Of the only world he ever knew,
What was provided to him,
His heart heavy, lonely, oh so blue
He Committed his own suicide,
That October fourth afternoon,
He was another statistic of child abuse,
The system ignoring the clues,
Can you make a difference?
What are you going to do?
